How It's Done
PSI provides a range of professional services to organisations, from recruitment assessment to training and development.
Recruitment assessment is made up of several components:
-
Personality Assessment
-
Aptitude or Ability Assessment
-
Skills Assessment/ Work Simulation
-
Behavioural Interview
For mid to senior roles (experienced hires), the process is as follows:
- Shortlist
- Interview
- Referred candidate/s undertake psychological assessment (including mid-high level abilities testing)
-
Reports compiled and returned to Human Resources Manager and recruiting manager with accompanying verbal feedback from PSI psychologist.
-
Issues raised by profiling are then verified through further interview and reference checking.
-
Appointment, Induction and Developmental Plan utilise points raised through assessment and interview process.
For lower-to-middle level roles (including graduate assessment):
- Interview
- Psychological assessment (including lower level abilities testing)
- Verbal feedback on results from PSI Psychologist to Human Resources Manager/Hiring Manager
- Reports compiled for candidates who make the shortlist and returned to Human Resources Manager and recruiting manager to aid further interviews and reference checking.
Psychometric assessments for all levels can be conducted online for remote or overseas candidates.
