Team Development & Training
Psychometric Solutions & Innovations provides interactive, engaging team building exercises for organisations on-site using the internationally recognised Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
The MBTI is a self-report questionnaire designed to make the theories of Swiss psychiatrist Carl G. Jung (1875 – 1961) applicable and relevant to everyday life. Jung’s theories measured psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions.
Results from the MBTI enhance a person’s understanding of themselves, their motivations, natural strengths, and potential areas for growth. It will also help them to appreciate people who differ from themselves.
How is the MBTI used today?
After more than 50 years of research and development, the current MBTI is the most widely used instrument for understanding normal personality differences. Because it explains basic patterns in human functioning, the MBTI is used for a wide range of purposes:
• Self-understanding
• Career development and exploration
• Organisation development
• Team building
• Management and leadership training
• Problem solving
• Relationships counselling
• Education and curriculum development
• Academic counselling
• Diversity and multicultural training
Samantha Dwyer has conducted MBTI programs in corporate and government organisations for several years, focussing on team development, conflict resolution, communication, problem solving and individual development and would be happy to discuss how we can help your staff reach their true potential.
